Our Story
Skiing has always been at the heart of the Bremmerer family. From the first turns on local hills in the United States to professional freeride competitions, ski industry product development, and years spent guiding and teaching, our lives have revolved around the mountains.
Hospitality and tourism have always been in our blood as well. With roots in fine dining, luxury catering, and chalet service, the Bremmerer tradition has always been about making people feel at home, even far from home. This unique blend of skiing expertise and world-class service naturally evolved into Epic Travel, a company designed to deliver authentic, elevated mountain experiences.
Three years ago, the Bremmerers made the life-changing decision to relocate to the Italian Alps, settling in the Aosta Valley. We wanted to raise our family in the shadow of Mont Blanc, surrounded by a culture that values food, wine, skiing, and community as deeply as we do. Living here has allowed us to build lasting relationships with local mountain guides, resort operators, hoteliers, and restaurateurs — connections that now benefit every guest we host.
With our experience booking trips across the Alps, we quickly saw a gap in the market: while many companies sold packages, few focused on the customer experience in the Aosta Valley itself. To answer that need, we created Alta Quota Aosta, a company dedicated to seamless, personalized, guest-first service. From ski rental delivery and childcare to private guiding and curated itineraries, Alta Quota was built to ensure that every guest’s journey is effortless and unforgettable.
Today, through the partnership between Epic Travel and Alta Quota Aosta, we combine decades of international tourism expertise with the insider knowledge that comes from calling the Alps home. We don’t just send travelers to the mountains — we welcome them to our mountains..
